Psychotherapy
Therapy offers a space to pause and reflect when something in your life feels difficult to understand or change. Many people come to therapy feeling angry, confused, stuck, lonely, or caught in painful patterns. You may be looking to gain clarity, improve your relationships, navigate a life transition, or find greater meaning and direction.
I believe that our struggles often have roots in relationships, experiences, wishes, and conflicts that are not immediately apparent. Together, we become curious about these complexities and allow their meaning to unfold over time. I offer a steady space where even the parts of yourself that feel confusing, contradictory, or difficult to acknowledge can be explored without judgment. By staying with uncertainty, we can make room for new understanding and the possibility of living differently.
Beginning therapy can feel like a big step. If you’re wondering whether we might be a good fit, I welcome the opportunity to talk. An initial conversation can help us think together about what you’re hoping for and whether my approach feels right for you.
Psychoanalysis
For some people, a more frequent treatment offers an opportunity to explore the patterns and experiences that continue to shape their lives in greater depth. In those cases, we may decide that psychoanalysis offers a more fitting way to work. Meeting several times each week creates a continuity that allows thoughts, feelings, fantasies, and patterns of relating to emerge in ways that are often difficult to access in less frequent treatment. Lying on the couch is an option that some people find helpful. Without the pressure of face-to-face conversation, their thoughts begin to unfold more freely. Over time, this creates space for unexpected connections and deeper self-understanding.
What once felt repetitive or inevitable can gradually begin to feel open to new possibilities. As your relationship to yourself changes, so too can your relationships, your work, and your capacity to live with greater freedom, vitality, and purpose.
